3M M79 Meter Buffers

3M M79 Meter Buffer
Meter Buffer Distortion

Although most studios only install Meter Buffers on their 2 Track machines, you will find that it's even more important to have buffers on your multitrack machines. With 2 track mixing machines, unless you master in-house, the meter buffers will only make a difference while listening in your environment, since your tape will be sent out for mastering. However, unless you have meter buffers in your multitrack, your multitrack meters are causing distortion in your mixes, when bouncing tracks and when combining tracks - always.

Features:

• Reduce machine output distortion caused by meters by up to .14%

• Adjust meter levels accurately

Applications:

• 2 or 4 Track Machines - requires 1 board 1/2 filled

• 8 Track Machines - requires 1 board full

• 16 Track Machines - requires 2 boards

• 24 Track Machines - requires 3 boards

Installation:

• Easily installs - can be done by almost anyone

• Requires no soldering - plug in and use

• View the installation instructions HERE

Prices:

• 2 - 4 Track Machines = $150

• 8 Track Machines = $200

• 16 Track Machines = $375

• 24 Track Machines = $550
